Actress Sheree Whitfield, former member of the highly popular Real Housewives of Atlanta franchise on the Bravo Network, stars in ‘Reckless’, the sixth film presented by the innovative program designed by Studio 11 Films which was shot Saturday, May 12, 2012 in Atlanta. Whitfield portrays Dr. McPhail, a Clinical Psychiatrist who treats one of the characters in the controversial film Reckless. “When I learned that the HIV epidemic for black women in Atlanta was compared to a Third-World country, I felt an obligation to be a part of this story” Whitfield told Studio 11 Films’ Unit publicist, Deborah Champagne. When asked if she will now get more involved in acting, Whitfield responded, “Yes, I do want to act, but I also want to experience being behind the cameras too. Hopefully, Studio 11 Films can provide that opportunity also.”

Dr. Ewaul B. Persaud, Jr. of Atlanta’s Premier South Medical Groupserves as himself and co-featured along with Sheree Whitfield.  Dr. Persaud is also a major sponsor of Studio 11 Films and  The 11Eleven11 Project™, hosting the film shoot for the movie “Torn”.

Written by child star Kiami Davael (young Lavender of the 1996 film Matilda), the Reckless team is comprised of including  a bevy of talented players such as, producer Leslie Day, director Glenda Giles and Christopher B. Pearman, (father of child star Raven-Symone) serving as their celebrity mentor.

Producer Leslie Day says,  “Reckless will engage its viewers and provoke a consciousness that can change the way people perceive inappropriate behavior. It’s a riveting soul searching film about a nymphomaniac and the misconduct of a young woman.”  He adds,  “The opening of our film sets the tone. Audiences will immediately grasp the fact that Reckless is a very profound film.”  Day also had this to say about the piece, “It will leave viewers with an inquiring mind on what is next to come.”
