Kenyon Martin Signed to New York Knicks
The New York Nicks have signed Veteran forward Kenyon Martin to a ten day contract. Rumors were floating around pointing to the Knicks as a landing strip for Martin. Martin wasn’t inclined to confirm when we interviewed him during the NBA Allstar Weekend in Houston, Texas during a fundraiser for his foundation hosted by Shaquille Oneal.
What was for certain was that the Knicks have been casing a new post player since both Rasheed Wallace and Marcus Camby have suffered injuries this season. He averaged 5.2 points, 4.3 rebounds and 22.3 minutes in 42 games last season with the Los Angeles Clippers.
