KIM FIELDS & ED WEINBERGER Poised to Make History with THE 11ELEVEN11 PROJECT™ –

On February 25, 2012, an historical phenomenon, The-11Eleven11 Project™ launched taking 33 talented dreamers with tremendous stories to tell on a journey of a lifetime.  In just 11 weeks, under the guidance of some of the film industries most documented veterans, 11 Writers, 11 Directors and 11 Producers will be trained and coached to create 11 short films.  The-11Eleven11 Project™ will provide a groundbreaking and revolutionary opportunity for aspiring and emergent writers, directors and producers to catapult their careers and become bona fide filmmakers.

The 11Eleven11 Project™ was created by Studio 11 Films in association with actor/director Kim Fields (currently Directing for Tyler Perry’s House of Payne), award winning writer/director Ed Weinberger (writer for Cosby Show, Mary Tyler Moore, Taxi) and actor/producer Mel Jackson (Living Single, Deliver Us From Eva and Motives) to connect the creativity of producers, directors, and writers trained to successfully create and produce quality film products.  The 11Eleven11 Project™ is a unique and revolutionary program designed for the next generation of creative artists who dream of a career as a screenwriter, film director or producer.

The selected 33 will be the honorary freshman class of The-11Eleven11 Project™ 2012.  During the weeks of February 25 – May 6, 2012, an intensive hands-on training and mentoring boot camp will take place.  Under the guidance of renowned resident instructors, Dianne Ashford (Producer/Symmetry Entertainment), Rhonda Baraka (TV & Screenwriter), and Shandra McDonald-Bradford (Director/Performing Arts Instructor); the trainees will gain invaluable insight into the craft of filmmaking.  At the end of The-11Eleven11 Project™, these creative minds will receive Red One Camera Certification, IMBD credit on 11 completed short films, with 11 industry professionals (i.e. LisaRaye, Carl Payne, Terri Vaughn, Rockmond Dunbar, Tommy Ford, Denise Dowse, Anna Marie Horsford, Miguel A. Nunez Jr., Stan Foster, Alton Glass and Leon), submission to 11 prominent film festivals and potential residual income through a DVD distribution deal.
