Virtual FB Rally on March 26th Wearing a hoodie (Justice for Trayvon Martin)

The VIRTUAL FACEBOOK RALLY event was organized by Yolanda Gore and Kim Macon.  The two are urging Facebook users to change their profile pic to a pic of you wearing a hoodie (Justice for Trayvon Martin) on Monday, March 26 at 12:00am – Tuesday, March 27 at 12:00am in EDT

17-year-old Trayvon Martin, a Florida high school student was shot and killed by George Zimmerman, a self-appointed neighborhood watch captain. George Zimmerman has yet to be arrested or charged with murder. Zimmerman claims he feared for his safety. The 911 tape says differently. Zimmerman gunned Trayvon down as he screamed for help. Why you ask? Racial profile. Trayvon wore a hoodie. His only weapon was a bag of Skittles and Iced Tea. Not much of a weapon if you as me.

Gore says,  “I’m asking that on March 26th…which is the one month anniversary of Travyon’s senseless death to change their profile picture to a picture of themselves wearing a hoodie. Let everyone know that just because you wear a hoodie, it doesn’t make you suspicious.”

Essence best selling author Victoria Christopher Murray, pictured here donning her hoody days ago has been very active in supporting the fallen young man and leading ongoing discussions about the tragic event.

Gore adds,  “Trayvon Martin deserves JUSTICE! Continue to make calls…Let your voices be heard.”

Please join FeSaad, and as we unite with all of those who STAND UP up for this innocent young man who was SHOT DOWN,  by this murderous man. Hoodies For ALL!
